Jeanne launched "Mowhawkee in the Moment" at the end of 2016. The American West, will be the first of several volumes. The next volume will be set in the picturesque Cape region of South Africa. Jeanne bought the winged Unicorn onesie initially only for the novelty of it at a Walmart in Michigan, USA, just before their cross country road trip. The actual project was eventually born on the open roads of America. She ended up jumping into her onesie when inspired by a setting and Ronet would skillfully snap away to capture those perfect moments. Only when they got back to South Africa did she decide to publish these very beautiful and quirky creations. Mowhawkee stands for: freedom of movement and expression, bliss, innocence, flight and promise.
Mowhawkee would like to make a request to all humans - to try and have a bit more compassion for nature and its animals. If everyone just picks up their own trash, we would all make such a huge difference in the world. Do you truly need that straw in your juice or plastic bags every single time? Just give it some thought - every bit will help.
